Charleston County Libertarian Party
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice" Barry Goldwater

The Charleston County Libertarian Party meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Our monthly meetings are open to the public. If you are concerned about big government, excessive police powers, overzealous prosecutors and judges, along with the steady onslaught of new laws that mean lost liberty and freedom in South Carolina, then it is highly recommended that you join the Charleston County Libertarian Party as well as the state party. We are activists which means we are active and making a difference. However, to make a bigger difference faster, we need you! So get off your can man, before it is too late; and we're telling you right now, it is getting too late, fast!

The CCLP meets monthly at Gilligan's in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts as are only injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.
